Synopsis: Jackie Chan is a guard from The Forbidden City, who has come to the Wild West in search of a kidnapped princess. Along the way he has hilarious adventures, dodges tomahawks, and finds his place in the world.
Jackie Chan watches in dismay as his belove Princess Pei Pei secretly leaves The Forbidden City. The emperor selects his three bravest warriors to go to America and find his daughter. Jackie's character, Gon Huang (pronounced like John Wayne) volunteers to carry their luggage and cook the meals! First off, I like Jackie Chan. I think I could watch him do anything. His screen presence is just wonderful to watch. Throughout the movie, he has a sense of humor, and his physical stunts are incredible. He throws a sheriff's badge as a ninja star. He has a one night stand with an American-Indian hottie. He spins a horsehoe around himself, and shoots people in the foot by accident. Through it all, his character slowly lets go of his old Eastern rigidity, and decides to stake his claim in the West. Jackie Chan shines as usual. The film is fun, action-filled and has a heart to boot. All thanks to Mr. Chan. I like Jackie Chan! There. I said it. I'd say it again if I had to. Rating: 6.5 Ninja Stars!
